Dear Mr. Afrash,

On behalf of our office, please find below the approved version of His Excellency Bishop Dr. Audie F. Cummings’ keynote address for tomorrow’s World Day Against the Death Penalty conference at Church House.

This version is cleared for media release and programme publication. It integrates Apostolic Pentecostal Oneness theological references (1611 KJV) and articulates a faith-based geopolitical appeal for justice, peace, and humanitarian reform in Iran.

🎙 Keynote Address (Media Edition)

“Iran at the Crossroads — From Repression to Reform”

Delivered by His Excellency Chancellor Ambassador Prof. Dr. Audie F. Cummings

Church House Conference on Human Rights – London, 11 October 2025

—

“He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God.” (2 Samuel 23 : 3)

Distinguished delegates and esteemed colleagues,

today we stand where faith and justice meet.

Iran’s crisis is not solely political — it is moral, spiritual, and human.

The righteous Judge of all the earth requireth accountability.

—

Political

Theocratic rule hath replaced representation with repression.

The Revolutionary Guards rule without conscience; ballots lie barren.

> “There is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed.” (Luke 12 : 2)

Political legitimacy cannot be purchased by executions; it collapses beneath its own iniquity.

—

Economic

Though rich in oil and gas, the nation’s wealth is drained by corruption and militarisation.

> “For the love of money is the root of all evil.” (1 Timothy 6 : 10)

When bread is withheld and greed enthroned, the cry of the poor ascendeth unto God.

—

Social

Over a thousand executions this year — nine each day — while women and youth lift the banner “Women, Resistance, Freedom.”

> “Let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.” (Amos 5 : 24)

The moral awakening of a nation is a river no tyrant can dam.

—

Technological

Censorship and surveillance may blind the world, yet truth findeth light through encrypted voices.

> “For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.” (2 Corinthians 13 : 8)

Technology has become both the rod of oppression and the trumpet of deliverance.

—

Legal

Executions of women and minors defy both law and heaven.

> “Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees.” (Isaiah 10 : 1)

“Because sentences against an evil work are not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.” (Ecclesiastes 8 : 11)

Justice delayed is justice denied; justice denied becometh complicity delivered.

—

Environmental

Environmental degradation mirrors spiritual decay.

> “The whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.” (Romans 8 : 22)

A government that destroyeth its people destroyeth the earth they till.

—

Strategic Imperatives

1. Establish an international tribunal for Iran’s 1988–2025 executions.

2. Designate the IRGC as a terrorist organisation worldwide.

3. Enforce UN resolutions to halt nuclear escalation.

4. Recognise Maryam Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan as a democratic framework.

5. Empower the Iranian people — diplomatically, economically, and morally.

6. End the silence; > “To him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.” (James 4 : 17)

—

Closing

“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” (John 10 : 10)

The measure of civilisation is not the strength of its sanctions nor the comfort of its silence,

but it’s courage to defend the sanctity of life.

The people of Iran have lit the candle of freedom; let us ensure that light is never extinguished again.

In the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Righteous Judge — Amen.
