Speech Of Maryam Rajavi at The Free Iran 2024 World Summit Onward to A Free Iran
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s speech: “Your massive rally today in Berlin represents a continuation of the Iranian people’s triumph in the nationwide boycott of Khamenei’s elections. This uproar of the Iranian people declares to the world that the overthrow of the Velayat-e faqih regime is inevitable and that freedom, democracy, and equality will be established in Iran, and peace will be secured in the Middle East.
Greetings to the PMOI freedom fighters in Ashraf 3, pioneers of resistance, struggle, and revolt against religious tyranny. Greetings to the rebellious youth and architects of uprisings across cities and villages of Iran. And salutes to those resisting in the prisons of the religious dictatorship. Greetings and salutations to all of you, the distinguished guests present at the Free Iran summit.
Thousands Of Exiled Iranians Protest In Berlin Against “Sham” Presidential Election
Agence France Presse (AFP) – Several thousand Iranian opposition members and their supporters demonstrated in Berlin against the Iranian leadership and the “sham” presidential elections. “This election is a total fiasco and shows that the regime has no legitimacy,” the German spokesman for the National Council of Resistance of Iran, Javad Dabiran, told the AFP news agency. “The Iranians don’t want this regime.”
“This regime kills people every day,” said an Iranian protester who claimed to be from the US and did not want to give her name. A large number of participants waved the flag of the Resistance Council. The President-elect of Iran’s National Council of Resistance, Maryam Rajavi, who was connected from France, said in a video conference that the boycott of the elections was a “slap in the face” of the Iranian rulers. Voter turnout, which according to the Iranian authorities was around 40 percent, was in fact much lower.
Demonstration Against The Regime in Iran: Organizers Expect Thousands in Berlin

Javad Dabiran has the best contacts in Iran, his homeland, which he left in 1978 as a 16-year-old. At that time, he emigrated to Germany. What he is hearing these days from siblings, friends, and acquaintances makes him optimistic about the political and social future of the country. “The mullahs’ regime is moving further and further towards the abyss,” says Dabiran. “Although it is exerting increasing pressure on the population, resistance is growing. The resistance should not be undermined by Western efforts to come to terms with the regime.”
Dabiran is a member of the National Council of Resistance of Iran. He describes the organization as “a kind of parliament in exile with locations in several countries.” In any case, this council is a lobby group for politics. And to show the people of Iran that they can count on their compatriots in the diaspora, they will demonstrate in Berlin this Saturday. People with Iranian roots from all over Germany and parts of Europe will gather on Bebelplatz in Berlin-Mitte. Dabiran expects “tens of thousands.” The rally begins at 2:30 p.m.
