Communication and Education Centre Welcomes National Lottery Community Fund Impact Report
Building Stronger Communities Through Education, Human Rights and Social Engagement
The Communication and Education Centre Association (CEC) is proud to join thousands of organisations across the United Kingdom in celebrating the publication of the National Lottery Community Fund’s 2024–25 Impact Report, Communities Making the Difference.
Over the past year, support from The National Lottery Community Fund has enabled CEC to expand its community activities, strengthen social connections, promote education and awareness, and support individuals and families facing social and cultural challenges.
The funding has helped us bring people together through educational programmes, cultural activities, community engagement initiatives, volunteering opportunities and awareness campaigns. It has also enabled us to continue our work in promoting human rights, equality, inclusion and community cohesion.
At a time when many communities face increasing social and economic pressures, we believe that strong communities are built through participation, mutual support and shared values. The National Lottery Community Fund’s investment has helped us create opportunities for people from different backgrounds to learn from one another, support one another and contribute positively to society.
We are particularly grateful to National Lottery players whose participation makes this support possible. Their contribution has helped organisations like CEC continue delivering meaningful projects that strengthen communities and improve lives.
As we look ahead, CEC remains committed to expanding its educational, cultural and human rights programmes, while continuing to work with local communities and partners to build a more inclusive, informed and compassionate society.
