A majority of the Welsh Parliament has endorsed Mrs. Maryam Rajavi’s Ten-Point Plan, which aims to establish a democratic republic in Iran. This statement, signed by 36 Welsh MPs, calls on the international community to support the Iranian people’s revolution for global peace and security.
The endorsement includes backing from 13 committee chairs in the Welsh Parliament and three ministers. The statement condemns the Iranian regime’s suppression of its people, particularly during the 2022 uprising, where security forces were documented shooting unarmed protesters. It highlights the regime’s status as the world’s leading executioner per capita, with at least 864 executions in 2023 alone.
