Iran on the Brink of Revolution: Opposition Plan to Topple Regime

Iran’s opposition forces are gearing up for a revolution to overthrow the current regime, an insider from Tehran has revealed. The National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), a coalition of various resistance groups, is determined to end Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s rule and establish a democracy.

The NCRI, has a president-elect ready to assume leadership once the regime falls. Spokesperson, outlined their vision for a free Iran that separates religion from law, promotes gender equality, protects ethnic minorities, abolishes capital punishment, and ends the pursuit of nuclear weapons.

As Iran heads to the polls, all candidates are hardliners likely to continue the legacy of Ebrahim Raisi, who died in a helicopter crash in May.

Iran remains embroiled in regional conflicts, nearing war with Israel and supporting proxy groups like the Houthis, who disrupt shipping in the Red Sea. The NCRI, spokesperson, emphasized their commitment to establishing a secular democratic republic in Iran.

Spokesperson, highlighted the extensive network of resistance units within Iran, which have played a crucial role in recent uprisings, particularly since 2018. These units actively protest against the regime by spreading anti-government messages, recruiting young people, and organizing demonstrations. Despite the risks, they persist in their efforts to erode Khamenei’s power.

The regime has brutally suppressed dissent, executing over 120,000 NCRI members in the past 43 years. Iran’s morality police also enforce strict religious laws, which led to the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini in 2022 for violating hijab regulations. Her death ignited the largest anti-regime movement for women’s rights in Iran’s history.

The NCRI has a detailed plan to overthrow the regime through a popular uprising. Spokesperson couldn’t disclose specifics due to security concerns, he assured that a major uprising is imminent. The NCRI’s commitment to this mission is unwavering, with four significant nationwide uprisings occurring in the past six years alone. Each uprising has grown larger and more inclusive, with increasing demands from the people.

Spokesperson expressed confidence that another uprising is inevitable, though the exact trigger remains unknown. The NCRI’s allegiance to the Iranian people drives their mission to topple the regime and establish a democratic government. This commitment is a promise they intend to fulfill, bringing hope for a free Iran.
