Campaigns to support women leading Iran protests 2022

Call for Justice campaign
In the summer of 1988, approximately 30,000 political prisoners were massacred in Iran, including thousands of women. Our “Call for Justice” campaign advocates for the victims of forced disappearances and arbitrary executions from 1981 to the present. We give voice to the mothers and families of those executed, demanding accountability for the regime’s crimes against humanity.
We urge governments and the United Nations to continue criminal investigations, issue arrest warrants, and pursue prosecution against the regime’s leaders for their atrocity crimes.

Campaign to secure release of political prisoners
We work tirelessly to save the lives of political prisoners in Iran. During the coronavirus pandemic, the Women’s Committee closely monitored the conditions of female political prisoners, who are deprived of necessary medical treatment and exposed to COVID-19 in overcrowded, unsanitary conditions.
